Hi Fulang, This is how stupid your argument is.

MRC already had 3 pits exposed, they can use the articulated trucks that are no longer required at Tormin beach, We all know MRC's cash position has been poor due to the inland strands' failure. If they needed to sell these 3 vehicles to fund the inland strands recommencement, why does it matter?

They are not critical to the profitability of the company, using the articulated trucks will cost more, i.e you may need 4 articulated trucks instead of the 3 rigid trucks. In the future when MRC sees the financial gains from the inland strands processing, they can buy new rigid trucks if required.

You fail to understand, MRC has a stockpile of 800kt of HM which needs to be processed (we don't need the rigid trucks for this), this will take MRC approximately 8 months to process and will produce around 160kt of HMC. MRC produced 220kt of HMC in 2022 from the beaches, the inland strands will achieve this production (50% of the plant capacity) in 11 months and we still have 50% of the production capacity available to process the northern beaches ore.
