There's quite a bit of back and forth over how the change in forecast demand should be interpreted. But at the very minimum, I think this statement from the CEO should have accompanied their update to the market, would have probably avoided a lot of the worst misinterpretations.
"The a2 Milk Company have not reduced their demand forecast with us post them going to the market with their midyear results, so just to be crystal clear on that."
In other words, the forecast demand that A2 sees for its products remains the same as what it based its Feb 20 outlook on. However, there's more detail given in there regarding how/why the forecast impacts on the companies differently.
