If CF33 and associated combinations work, I'd love to see the IP owned by an Australian company/ies and so that future revenues stay here in Australia.
CSIRO invented Wi-Fi and as far as I can see, have only received around $220M. Can you imagine what Wi-Fi is really worth now?
From what I can gather CSIRO gave it away. (Please correct me if i'm wrong)
Would it be possible for IMU's IP to be purchased by a consortium of Australian companies? Could CSL be interested?. Is CSL big enough?
I can't think of any other Aussie biotech that's remotely big enough.
Obviously International Pharma Companies have the size, skills, experience and funding. Which is of course the most likely destination for the IMU IP.
