This well was drilled in the shallow part of the basin, so was a quick drill.

Should b interesting to see, how much coal they intersected in the Purni. This well is ~32 kms frm 7001 which had 130m of coal. Once they run the logs operations should wind up on this well.

Look fwd to O#2 drilling soon. This should b a sub-1900m well. The original O#1 was TD'd at 1858m in the 1960's, so well data frm here should b useful when they drill & correlate the formation tops. (Where r Grumpster & Conix these days?)

As JH mentioned on BRR, plan is to air/mist drill, so should b interesting to see how the Areyonga formation (AF) flows. They attempted 4 DST's & got 1 to flow at 0.34 mcm/day frm the 1146-1190m interval in the AF, but the damage was already done by the heavy mud. O#1 is about 5kms north of O#2.

IMO, CTP's conventional drilling program should see more interest build-up, once CDL#7 arrives & rigs up onsite, later this month.
