    Good point about copper, that's where the miners have been taking their lead from. They might be justified in complaining that copper doesn't affect their earnings anywhere near as much as the bulk commodities, but their share prices have precious little correlation with the Baltic Dry. Copper is still being used as the indicator of global economic strength, though I suspect its become more of a speculative plaything and seems to not have much relation to its fundamentals, inventories etc.
