Interesting to note Lyons is the grandson of Joseph Lyons - former PM. As far as I can see the court calendar doesn't talk in terms of 'terms'. Only says the Melbourne Supreme Court sits from 9/1/23 to 22/12/23 (limited sittings early in new year). Maybe it loosely refers to Victorian school terms. First term ends 6/4/23.
