It comes down to a matter of ‘trust’. And by missing this timeline (if it happens), no matter if there is a reason or not. That dilutes some of the ‘trust’ that is held in the company and those who made the original statement/promise.
Trust is one of your most precious assets. It takes forever to build up….. but can be lost in a moment. And one should never discount the value investors place in ‘trust’.
There is a simple way to avoid such a situation, deliver what you say…. and by when you said it…..
i’ll just dismount from my horse now…. But yeah as a longterm SH I’ll be annoyed if nothing is said tomorrow.
