AVZ in a tricky spot. They'll want to keep the stock suspended to prevent trading in an uniformed market, but they need to raise capital soon. ASX will only accept one explanation or version of the truth here and what AVZ says is going to stick.

But I'm a non-holder so I wouldn't have a clue.

I see a few shareholders reckon this is getting taken over for $10b so I'm sure that's closer to the reality and there's nothing to worry about here. AVZ board must've missed that page when they sent this announcement through to the ASX. Someone call the front desk and let them know.
