VERY HARD TO DUMP , so much power at some point adapted perhaps as Deng did , but even he had no thoughts of relinquishing any party control over China I feel sure I will never see it in my lifetime
I am no fan of the Chinas form of government as I always saw the danger of a Xi , another Mao if you will taking full autocratic control as he did . But prior to that it actually was a very efficient form of government .
Yes, China knows well what putin has completely failed to grasp ....the competition is as much economic and technological as military .
