I have never blamed shorting for the low SP. I see shorting as an effect of low price and not a cause. Wiser people than me knew they were going to struggle to raise finance and they shorted as is their right. If I knew how to do it I would have shorted too. Me as a relatively newbie rode it from these prices in 2020 to the 14+ and sold some below the peak. ASM does not owe me any money per se. I just thought it could be more than this at this stage. I don't place much faith in what the government say these people took years and years to see the sense of buying nuclear powered subs off the shelf and tied themselves up in knots and waisted billions trying to retro fit a French nuke sub to diesel electric. 20 freaking years later they finally see sense. My guess is they will talk a big game but say its all too hard in the end. After all I am sure some weed or frog will chuck another 5 years onto the build of Dubbo, look what happened to INR. I understand ASM is permitted they tell us. The mine at Dubbo will cost 1.6B they say, same thing in China 600M and no BS about weeds or toads. I see no evidence that we are ready to punch on in this game yet. If in September Australia votes yes for the Voice referendum then IMHO we can truly wave by bye to this.
But you know what really hurts me about this. I had the chance for a life changing win, I didn't take it and I fear I may not see it again. Is this all sour grapes? maybe, but its not ASM's fault, its mine.
