JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Title: Finance Analyst
Department: Finance

Reporting to: Finance Manager

I. Description

A financial analyst gathers and interprets data about securities, companies, corporate strategies, economies and financial markets.

II. Duties and Responsibilities

• Preparing financial plans or projections as needed by the following but not limited to stakeholders: a. Department of Energy b. Banks/Lenders/Equity Investors c. Energy Regulatory Commission
• Updating the financial model and monitoring the external environment for changes in the KEY INPUTS to the financial model. These include but not limited to: a. WESM Data b. Demand growth of prospective markets c. Tax Rates d. Incentives and etc.
• Analyzing financial projections, financial statements and other information to determine impact of environmental changes to the cash flow, financial position, and profitability of the business.
• Communicating with various stakeholders the results of the analysis and/or forecast.
• Collaborating with other departments (i.e. Legal & Accounts Department) on the following: a. To ensure submission of reportorial requirements as stated in loan agreements. b. To compute for key ratios set by loan agreements. c. Monitoring company’s compliance with conditions set by the loan agreements.
• Developing of various forecasting models that will support key assumptions in financial models.
• Monitoring the performance or progress of existing projects under construction.

III. Qualifications

• Candidate must be a graduate of Accounting, Finance, Business or equivalent.
• High integrity and willing to learn.
• With strong quantitative skills.
• Strong MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Can demonstrate knowledge of basic accounting and has ability in financial modeling/forecasting.
• Can work independently, resourceful and care interact with other effectively.
• Willing to work on assignments or projects outside the Philippines.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
