In my lifetime, I've seen the extreme left mind shift from having a deep mistrust of an established government (power to the people etc) to a position, now, of embracing big government like a child would his parent. The truth is leftist politics is always geared up for big controlled and bloated government with minimal freedom of thought. Hatred of opposition, victim mentality and woke horse-$hit is their means of gaining power. The stupid will line up and support the craziness, while the rest scratch their heads and can't believe how bad things will become.
On the one hand you hear the typical lefty numpty call Trump out as unpopular but their clogged mind then can't explain why he is permanently in the news and almost constantly under attack.
An unpopular individual with almost 24/7 media exposure ... sure he is!
