I get what you saying... but only works if you are able to CR without a discount.
But investors like Buy backs as it instills confidence.. if the sp is below $1.50 next 6 months and KCN able to generate positive cashflows..I can see KCN doing a buy back to give the sp a positive nudge.... I think buyback allowance has already been approved by shareholders.. so they can do it anytime.
