No one is mocking anyone.
Re lack of disclosure.
People here have unrealistic expectations of what they will achieve and needlessly upset themselves.
I am taking a realistic, perhaps cynical view based on personal experience over many years.
I am saying have a look at the laws on disclosure.
NWE BOD have multiple arguments for the position they have taken.
With this in mind there is zero chance of ASIC doing anything.
I don't like it, many others obviously don't like it - tough, they have the law on their side, not us.
Respecting the law includes us, when we don't like it.
People are talking of ASIC searching emails and getting phone records.
Seriously, get a grip.
Read the article in the Australian that I partly posted previously.
Unfortunately, the mods took it down, but it will still be available via The Australian.
It was about ASIC, and their lack of doing anything.
One of the examples was where when a well-known liquidator reports a company for trading insolvent.
They got an autoresponse and nothing happened.
No follow up, nothing, nada, no investigation and people lost money.
If you want something to do, read through both offer documents and the extension notices and attached documents and check out if they extended the holding date they would accept offers from.
