Maybe the Sami should listen to their own advisor Susanna Israelsson:
Susanna Israelsson, an advisor at the non-governmental organisation Saami Council, says she's disheartened by the UN climate panel's new report released on Monday.
Her organisation represents different bodies in the Sápmi region, which includes parts of northern Sweden.
Susanna Israelsson says they're already experiencing dangerous conditions for both reindeers and herders, caused by climate change.
"My reaction is actually fear and sadness. We know so much but we do so little," she says.
