Amprius didn't make it easy to find out what type of cathode they use. However, I did some digging and it's LCO (cobalt) which imo doesn't make this very scalable.
Silicon nanowires Tesla even mentioned during battery day(back in 2020 or 2021), so the tech is known and we all no that Tesla has been struggling to get silicon into their anodes(most likely because they want it to be cost effective and also scalable).
