Speculator 101...you said "I still struggle to understand how SBM was run so badly"
It has been run badly for a very long time and I believe it is the SBM chairman who has set the culture and allowed this to happen.
Same guy chairs at GOR, and they have wasted tonnes of cashflow and shareholder capital on dud exploration which has achieved nothing.
He's just been lucky at GOR that his JV partner at Gruyere is doing a good job running the mine without any input from him.
Doesn't stop him mismanaging the remaining assets though.
