No, not all. The moon (apart from earthshine) isn't illuminated by the earth. It is illuminated by the sun, just like we are.
A lunar day / night cycle is 28-ish earth days long. A day on the moon is approximately 14 earth days long. We can actually see this from earth. This is called "moon phases".
