Sharing some geology behind the bonanza hit at Youanmi South.
Rox had already drilled Youanmi South with some excellent high grade results (see Fg 1). Youanmi South was estimated at 50K oz Au.
However, this was pretty much blind drilling and a lot of it shallow.
The new Exploration Manager, Travis Craig, saw the significant of the Hanging Wall Lode (Fig 2) and interpreted the Midway Structure and its extension to Youanmi South.
It was this new interpretation that enabled the geos to target new discoveries of high grade gold at Midway parallel lodes and Youanmi South.
