Pays to remember what "the market" represents. Not like a quarter of shareholders high tailed it over the past two days. For a company with several hundred million shares on issue, it hasn't exactly been Armageddon or indicative of some fundamental issue. Really just speaks to a knowledge gap if people are fixating on yesterdays results as the be and end all for the drug and the P values, which given the sample size were good considering what the trial was aimed at. The P values will have more significance when we are talking groups of hundreds.

Each to their own on risk comfort, there are gains to be had or losses, depending on the result, I think the company have some educating to do before Phase 3 results, so people don't anticipate the wrong things and take away the wrong things like has just happened.

From what I have seen so far, was retail shareholders bailing, not anyone of significance or special knowledge or some greater collective thought bubble. Its a market of emotions and sheep, in both directions. Fools when it goes down and geniuses when it goes up. Just because a few hundred minor shareholders ran for the door this time, doesn't mean it will happen again next time nor are they smart or dumb for doing so.

Look at NEU, Phase 3 results are what kicked off the SP, as most people just want to see the finish line and cross it with everyone else at the last minute.
