Ace I think ANSTO are the experts and CSIRO. They know what is best procedures. HCl or sulfuric acid will be used and they will trial both as times progresses. MET testing is about seeing whether or not the clay's can be leached and what% recoveries are possible. Od6 recoveries on first try were 70% minimum without any refinement in processing. I've worked in process improvement my whole working life at Dow and Od6 first pass met results were outstanding and will only improve as more testing occurs from ANSTO and CSIRO. Australia needs to be able to process clay ores to rid the world of its dependence on Chinese REE Oxides.
