Yes agreed, all the state libs are pro the voice, only the fed libs are against it.
That is not the Federal position.
Dutton declared that the Lib party room are for constitutional recognition.
They also say yes to local and regional Voices by way of legislation.
He announced a No to what he has decided to describe for political reasons as the Albanese Canberra Voice.
It has come to light via leaking that what was discussed in the party room was a 3 point plan which also included a national Voice but also via legislation.
It has been reported that some of those who attended were surprised that the Dutton announcement differed to what they were presented with during the meeting.
Perhaps Dutton's close knit group of supporters decided on playing a political game with future elections in mind rather than pursuing a full legislated Voice policy.
Some have pointed out that just having regional and local Voices without national co-ordination could mean the Voices would go nowhere and remain unheard.
