it would take at least 12-18mths to build and then the same time fit out and commission, maybe quickier 2nd time around. Did anyone notice they stepped away from the timelines in the agm preso. They need cash to unlock the grant asap. I it sounded like the DOE loan would be lucky to get approved this year. Did anyone else think that? I am quite disappointed from october grant interview full steam ahead to this. Currently they have 200 staff as stated at latest conference and 90-100 at bts where they currently have no positions available. that makes 100 in the us which previously i heard 300-350 for big blue at full capacity so currently at 30%.
They seem like the right company in the right sector at the right time with government behind them, good people, more than 1 product, gov policies but can't get this factory up and going.
