I keep wondering about the 'therapeutic window' Yuman Fong discussed, from memory, it took a billion CF33 particles in rats to start showing toxicity and only 1000 to cure animals. If they are already confident they are seeing CF33 kill tumours at these tiny doses, it begs the question, how many cohorts away are we from finding RP2D? I imagine once that is found soon after the trial will be able to move seamlessly into phase II.

What's been quite positive is the consistency from Yuman Fong in his communication; even early on before the human trial had commenced he discussed tiny levels being very effective. To be so early into Phase I and imply publishable data being generated is significant. So I also wonder whether Yumans comments about seeing the same things in humans now that they saw in animals transfers also to response rates. In preclinical studies, the CF33s response rate was very high 70%+. Iv said previously that anything about 20-30% response rate with little to no toxicity would deem CF33 a huge success. Time will tell.

The beauty of CF33 potentially infecting any cancer type puts it head and shoulders above any other therapy currently in the works. Even the highly discussed mRNA cancer therapy is extremely expensive and time-consuming to produce. If CF33 is doing what was shown preclinically, it will be a shot across the bow for these new therapies given the ease and extremely low cost of manufacturing, ease of administering, and safety profile.

Exciting times ahead to say the least.
