ASX listing rule 3.1 requires them to maintain continuous disclosure because the results are price sensitive. I don't see a way they could delay results legally. It does however hinge on whether they are "aware of any information concerning it (them)."

Once those labs say the results are ready, management is aware so that won't hold up. I'm unsure as to whether they can tell the labs "don't tell us when they're ready, until we reach out to you." Would be highly unethical/potentially illegal. It's a weird situation and I'm confident the board wouldn't do that to themselves.
