    Hi Davolatopia

What a statement "if they bought at ATH" to justify your flawed logic. So many "ifs" in your second post

    Your statement
"What if those shares that your "astute mum & dad sellers" sold were originally bought at over $2?" Where is that coming from

BRN traded only two days above $2.00 the 19th and 20th Jan 2022. It traded only very briefly in the 2.30s around the ATH of 2.34 on the 19th , it opened at at 2.10 and closed at 2.13. The volume for those two days was only 140m

    Next
It traded sometimes reaching above above 1.76 for only a total of only for 6 days for a volume of about 400m and you have all the "moms and dads" buying on theses days. Your making things up.

You just ignore 4 months of selling above $1 followed by 4 months of sell above 0.70 as I described in my chart and write it all down to dumb luck. How many of the sellers in these months where long term holders that bought in at around 0.20s and under. BRN spent 5 years trading around 0.20s the years being 2011,2012, 2013, 2016, 2017 and 2018. These sellers at above $1 and above 0.70 were just banking some profits in a falling market. That wasn't dumb luck.

I sold a small portion of my 0.06 buy at 1.65 to more than free carry my entire holding. Just dumb luck?

Smart selling has been going on this year.

There were two days this year on the 4,5th of Jan where the lowest price sold on these days was 0.75 and the peak was 0.88.

Current price 0.47. Huge difference between 0.75 and 0.47.

Yes the Institutional holding of shares has increased but to what level 50m shares out of 1,770m shares on issue or 2.8%. A drop in the bucket.
You have made a big thing of how this has grown remarkably well from about 24m this time last year (that 1.355% shares of issue) to 50M (2.8% of shares on issue). That's 1.355% to 2.8% what a massive deal.

Did you anywhere is your article state that this institutional holding was 2.8% shares on issue?

There was one bird on a Hippo's and now there are two, surely that's going to influence the Hippo's behaviour.

If your numbers where 8% turning into 16%, then I grant you that is something of significance.

If this downturn in SP continues I fully expect that this institutional holding could in fact grow to 70m (4%) because the share would be cheaper.

To me that is still not that significant. In my opinion your flawed logic continues as it based using a magnifying glass to blow up what's happening to a tiny, tiny fraction of the BRN market. Then you accuse me of misleading readers.

    Just my opinion , DYOR

    cheers Lies
