Wait for the budget. You might find it eye opening. Federal net debt is the key (and is half the $Tn bandied about) and is actually lower as a share of the economy than pre-Covid. And the budget position will be a deficit under $10Bn, next year should be similar. Inflation & immigration are inarguably beneficial to the federal budget (if you don't know, inflation raises revenue for governments at a greater rate than their expenses & reduces relative value of government debt - AUD denominated)
