Astute observation, I would imagine being below the 5% threshold would make any negotiations between Ezcorp and a non-substantial holder a bit easier given less scrutiny. Might be finally lining up the ducks prior to a takeover offer (pure speculation), if you were Ezcorp you would want to know the going rate of the major holders to ensure you don't have a prolonged multi offer and increased premium takeover...
