Bit of a mixed bag overseas with no real discernable trend.
All European markets up marginally.
DOW closed in the red - down just 38 points. NASDAQ Biotech Index closed down 10 points.
In the US, the tech sector continued to get pounded - down 102 points.
US Fed released CPI figures which showed annualised inflation down to 5% from 6%. Core inflation (not including food or fuel) remaind at the similar levels (5.6% from 5.5% in the previous month). US Fed is also worried about "bank stress".
