It’s the other way around, a production well termed an appraisal well. That way an extended production test does not invoke the production clause of the PSC. Make no mistake all the materials for this well and Al3 will be at production specifications.
As to when MAY get the rig, no one knows. The rig slot was confiscated but made to look like maintenance but the ruse could not be maintained when it became 2 wells. In this scenario nothing can be trusted.
