Nope. The evidence is 100% conclusive, locked in, settled: LDL cholesterol is a major cause of heart disease. Every man and his dog has a pet theory (and youtube channel) where they twist themselves into all sorts of cognitive distortions to try and pretend that eggs are fine, or certain meat is fine, or a specific diet is fine. But it's all rubbish. Lower your dietary cholesterol and your heart disease risk factor goes down, there's no magic paleo diet that allows you to eat bacon safely (sadly).
But that's the beauty of NYR -- people don't want to give up the sausages. In 10 years we'll see a new KFC heart-tick chicken nugget that is pre-dosed with the Nyrada PCSK9 inhibitor and we'll all be rich.
Bad news for pigs though.
