Coming to a market after a change in character and proclaiming x will happen because of 'fundamentals' is the most surface level comment one can make, all to satisfy an ego that wants to feel and then be seen as 'right.' This is true in both directions.
If someone was so often correct about their unwavering confidence in an outcome they wouldn't be hanging around on forums trying to prove their perspective, but would instead be living a fantastic care free life as their high batting average extracts near infinite money from the market.
People tend to offer respect in exchange for thought-out reasoning of a thesis. This isn't a game of predicting the future but instead to manage risk.
