If you paid too much for your house that is your own fault, you cant punish future generations making them pay too much, just for the mistakes of a few.
it makes do difference to their mortgage payments if their house price falls or not. Unless they cant keep up with the mortgage, in which case is their own fault again for borrowing too much.
