Let me guess, Australian C6C shareholders end up with un-tradeable NYSE:HUD with butt loads of paperwork to repatriate the shares back into Australia?
I'm wondering if Glencore will swoop now, or wait until the HUD:C6C merger to be completed and then swoop in? Looks like Glencore are having no luck over at Teck so they might be the only logical competitor/bidder?
I'm not an expert on HUD but looks like HUD are buying some mine life and cashflow to get the big US Cu developments in Nevada and Arizona over the line? Pretty clean transaction from a regulatory point of view US/Canadian companies, and no real roadblock re Chinese/EU/Australian/Peruvian regulators?
