Interesting developments in the nickel sulphate refinery area. So Wyloo has a takeover offer for Mincor in play. BHP then hampers Mincor's supply of nickel for processing (possibly to force Wyloo to pull its bid ... which it stated it wont but wont increase its offer price either). Wyloo then announces a new nickel processing facility JV with IGO. Quite clearly a BHP v Twiggy battle continues for nickel assets (see Noront). The demand for nickel assets continues to heat up and options for WIN regarding long term processing get better. I know the BHP Kambalda concentrator is closer and makes more sense, but if Wyloo's TO of Mincor goes through, I believe the addition of WIN to BHP's stable of nickel assets increases big time. WIN just needs to get more of its nickel from inferred into indicated and boom, see ya.
