you miss the point. As Macquarie bank has estimated : the NAL offtake is worth nearly $1 a share to piedmont by itself.
that’s circa 1.9 billion dollars. If piedmont were to jointly agree to a chemical plant they would want the above valuation reflected in any joint chemical plant or as it is said ;
‘rocks in their head for making their shareholders worse off’
