A B767 makes a lotta sense for VB:

* Spares in Australia
* LAMES and Pilots on type
* Airport Gates
* Heavy Maintenance (John Holland , Qantas Hngr 3?)
* Ge-Cf6 engine Maintenance in Melbourne
* Quicker turnaround than similar widebodies
* Who needs plastic when aluminium does fine for short hall stuff or medium hall
* They still make them brand new

Not to mention that there awesome to fly on..........
