it doesn't matter if you are a holder or a non holder - AVZ are a mining minnow in a corrupt country and the government have warned them to go and sort out a compromise with their joint venture partners. Whether they are aggrieved and the law is on their side matters little.

By Lawyering up and going down that road they are in a David and Goliath battle against a corrupt regime backed by a world super power who has Billions $$ of dollars they can throw at building infrastructure and an endless cup of $$$ for the brown paper bags to refill.

I expect that this is a grave tactical error for them to go down the legal road as I expect it doesn't end well for the BOD and loyal shareholders.
