because why should they ride on the coattails of AVZs hard 100+million dollars worth of time and effort and absolutely F* over the people of the DRC whilst doing it all just to line the pockets of a few happy fat cats? if they paid the original quoted value of I think circa 150million AVZ would still be a bit grumpy and understandably so being it’s against pre emptive rights. If they came out now and said we will pay the remainder of the 150 plus what it’s now valued at plus our percentage of costs incurred in the exploration period plus a sorry fee for being the C* we were to the DRC people then things may work. That ain’t international business the way bullies and thieves play it though so never going to happen.
