The polynovo initial pilot study results do look promising, I've also seen their product used first hand. However, I understand their product needs to be applied by a surgeon, this would be costly and also it takes time to see a surgeon which could be too late to heal the DFU

I'm hoping that the CYPatch can be applied much easier as it is dressing.

One interesting development at polynovo is that they are working with a company to have islet cells (derived from stem cells) incorporated into another one of their products. You would think that this means they could also incorporate MSC's.

If the CYPatch can prove to heal faster than competitors products and also be easier to apply then it could be a very good option. And also a possible take over target
