I hear what you're saying there for sure. These are just shorter term ideas for those more active investors who might be trading a parcel here & there...perhaps alongside their long term positions.
As for the shading, my hope is that it helps those viewers who are interested to more readily identify where they are within the big picture when viewing the larger scale charts. Besides, don't you think it looks pretty?
Other than that one thing I do know is the colouring-in sure does help with my dementia.!
