Sorry to be posting again so soon, but I wanted to share my recent thought about the LTH not selling any/many shares. I feel there is an impact that we haven't mentioned to my recollection...

It has to be now well understood by all other holders (non hotcopperites) that there is a very tight register. There might be holders who were thinking of selling some and buying back later. I imagine that with the knowledge that getting back their stake might be quite tricky and the trajectory of the price now seems inexorable. So there's a psychological effect that I believe would even extend to institutions. Also of course, the short selling en masse is very unlikely to return.

I'm not so naive that I believe it's all plain sailing from here, and I can see a couple of quite likely speed bumps like the potential market volatility when the US Congress has to pass the "raising the debt ceiling" bill which is predicted to occur sometime in the next several months. There's the usual end of financial year tax loss selling that hits the market in late May and June, and there's always the "black swan" event possibility of something from left field. But any casual traders are going to be very cautious going forward imo. That should stand us in good stead.

    regards
    DF
