Anyone else tiring of reading of all these rare earth companies doubling and tripling in price (even overtaking ASM in mkt cap), whilst ASM goes backwards?
I was just reading some commentary on ASM when it was a $1 billion capped company in 2021 with first Dubbo production planned in 2024! I know management have been a bit crap on delivering their pumped up promises, but this is cheap here. Been buying more steadily. Never thought it would get under $1.70 after the last company update. I am buying it under its opening price on demerger, from which I sold my shares higher a long time ago. To be buying ASM lower than the $1.25 opening price after demerger (closed $1.40) is a bit sad. One big German, Korea, US or Japanese contract hint in the quarterly and this thing likely to bounce back up above $2 again.
Only long jaded dreamers and recent value investors left in this stock now. You have to surely say, even with some considerable pessimistic odds on execution, for this stock to be trading here with its Korean plant and this potential resource, its a bit cheap <$200M:
