I too am happy to be overweight in WAF, the carrot is too enticing compared to the potential geopolitical risks. Plus WAF has many other inherent advantages such as AISC, growth profile and the prospectivity of the tenements.
Other ASX players in the region Perseus and Endeavour have done well over the years too, plus there are quite a few other Gold Mining outfits who find that part of the world worthwhile:
Australia still definitely has its own array of sovereign risks, and places like Canada seem even worse.
