It’s basically for governance purposes and ensuring everyone plays their relevant roles. Breakdown of governance protocols during a DD can see a deal fall over even if the drug works.
JC negotiating a deal whilst being impartial to the board and BP at the same time - surely no conflict there?…. I think it’s a balance of tightening governance and planning for a transaction.
I am sure Danny is contributing to these decisions nicely behind closed doors.
