I know of the R+D aspect but have never come across any mention of the facility being utilised in doing any work for and on behalf of smaller companies as such. Since validating the machines has occurred I'm sure it's moved on from the R+D stage for not so critical components, just thinking out aloud whilst waiting on the sidelines...
