re: Ann: First Deep Hole Confirms IR Gold Sys... how are you GBZers, back from the sin bin, that will teach me to post about meerkat while i,m inebriated.

while i was incarcerated i did a little research regarding Malmsbury, the grades released and potential JVs.

In the announcement Peter once again referred to fosterville mine owned by Northgate minerals and the fact that our deposit is similar to theirs.

i went to their web site and the first thing i read was that they were gold and copper producers, interesting!!!
wonder if a Canadian company that already has operations in Australia wants to expand??

went to their news releases from 2009 and found one re drilling results at their fosterville mine dated 14/9/09 in which they released the following
    " Drilling Highlights

    - Exploration step out drilling in the Phoenix Deeps has intersected
10.1 grams per tonne (g/t) gold over 6.6 metres (m) in drill hole
SPD514E, including 17.6 g/t gold over 3.6m (estimated true width).

    - Infill resource definition drilling in the Phoenix Extension has
confirmed continuity of gold mineralization and structural settings.
Significant drill results from the ongoing infill drill program
    include (estimated true width):

    - SPD510A intersected 5.5 g/t gold over 17.9m
    - SPD517 intersected 5.2 g/t gold over 8.0m
    - SPD517B intersected 7.3 g/t gold over 4.1m
    - SPD517A intersected 6.6 g/t gold over 4.4m
    - SPD510B intersected 3.3 g/t gold over 7.9m
    - SPD510 intersected 2.5 g/t gold over 8.9m "

these grades sound significantly higher than our results so not sure whether they would be interested in our plot of land regarding a JV.

on the other hand when you go into investor info on the same site there is a bullet point list of 7 reasons why to invest in Northgate, point 6 says
" An excellent platform to make additional acquisitions in the future "

so, are they a potential JV partner, maybe.

back to the share price though, no one mentioned yesterday the ridiculous sell off in the auction period, 1 sale for 19000 shares or $1520, wow, that person must of been desperate to wipe out the whole days gains in 1 hit or perhaps its a small price to pay to keep GBZ shareprice subdued. Think most people have read my theories on that.

anyway, looks like the brightlands and milo results will need to be spectacular to create some liquidity and perhaps make it harder to play around with the sp.
