That is a reasonable concern. While NA has a greater skills base than Australia it is no big secret that new Australian converters have required a lot of help from Chinese personnel and still struggled. Even AKE's Naraha in Japan has had major ongoing issues causing delays.

The lithium industry has a reputation for secrecy and there are a large number of projects that will be competing for talent from a limited global skills base.

I think many are too quick to assume that Lithium salts manufacturing is similar enough to other chemical industries that skills will be easily transferable.

Getting the right partners in early and not interfering will be essential. Some management just cannot help themselves.
