    the thing is, GFC aside,

    China has plenty of dollars to invest,

    and if Xtrata wait out this GFC2, they will be well aware they might miss thier op into platinum.

    So what would you do if you were Xtrata?

    GFC2 only works as leverage, if there are no other players prepared to sit in.
