Zip I am on the line to whether they deserved him or not, The system of electing a president in the US is what got Trump elected, he did get the majority of votes but the EC system gave Trump the win.

However being POTUS brought out the worst of Trump's Malignant Narcissist personality and he used or should I say abused the power that comes with being POTUS

If not for Trump's disastrous handling the covid pandemic, (a big majority of US voters that) Trump may have won the 2020 election. But no such was the huge dissatisfaction with he handled the covid pandemic voters came out in record number to have him voted out.

So Biden didn't really win the 2020 election on his own merit, the majority of voters just wanted Trump gone. It quite possible any one who was the alternative to Trump would have one.

So yeah American voters deserve have Biden, polling suggest that the majority don't regret getting rid of Trump and don't want him back.

My only interest in politic here is seeing a former POTUS getting held accountable for the crimes he committed, especially the crimes trying to over turn the election and Jan 6th

DoJ needs to fully demonstrate and set the precedent that no one is above the law not even a former POTUS or current POTUS so that no one in future can take the position as president unelected and can't hold onto power like a dictator.
